PBL Presentation in Autumn/Winter Term
In the Maple Program, we are engaged in PBL (Project-Based Learning) activities that explore the city of Minoh where we live. The purpose of the activities is to think about issues in Minoh through a broad knowledge of the nature, history, culture and society of Minoh, and to present and disseminate solutions to these issues in an appropriate form. This semester, in order to learn PBL methods, we conducted PBL activities on the theme of our own country (region/town). On January 23 and 30, each class gave a PBL presentation. Students presented the results of six months of study full of originality. At this event, we were joined by the members of Minoh Semba Town Planning Council, Minoh Volunteer Guide MV Club, Residents’ Association of Semba-Nishi Area and Minoh City Community Center. We had a very lively question-and-answer session. We would like to sincerely thank everybody that has cooperated with and supported our PBL activities. Thank you very much!
