The Center for Japanese Language and Culture Osaka University (CJLC) moved to a new campus in April 2021.

The new campus
is close to central Osaka.

The new campus will be located ten minutes by bus from Senri-chuo station, where you can take the Kita-Osaka Kyuko railway and the Osaka Monorail. The Kita-Osaka Kyuko railway extends into the Osaka Metro Midosuji line, so it is easy for students to reach Umeda and Namba, the central areas of Osaka, as well as the JR and shinkansen station Shin-Osaka, Kansai Airport, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe.

The new campus houses the Center for Japanese Language and Culture, the School of Foreign Studies, and the Graduate School of Language and Culture. There is a Student Common Space on both the 5th and the 6th floor, and there is a lobby and a cafeteria on the 3rd floor. For details, see here.
