After Graduation

Undergraduate students (in principle, third year students or higher) and graduate students participate in the Maple Program. The chart below shows further studies and employment options students choose after graduation.

After the students graduate from the Maple Program, many of them return home to graduate and find work (① and ③), but each year around three students find work or pursue further studies in Japan (② and ④).

  • Examples of work possibilities in Japan: financial sector, distribution sector, hotel sector, telecommunications sector, etc.
  • Example of further studies in Japan: Studies in Japanese Language and Culture at Osaka University Graduate School of Language and Culture.
