On November 25, 2025, we conducted an off-campus tour as part of Maple Directed Research & Reading. The students were guided on a group tour by the members of Minoh Semba Town Planning Council, Residents’ Association of Semba-Nishi Area, Minoh City Community Center Kayano Small Hall “Kusunoki House”, Minoh-Hutt Friendship Club “MHFC “, and Minoh Association for Global Awareness “MAFGA “. We visited Sugitani Park, Sugitani Playground, Shinsemba Minami Park, Shinsemba Nishi Park and “Kusunoki House” or the Minoh City Community Center in Kayano Elementary School District to gain a better understanding of the community activities taking place in the Minoh Semba area where they live. It was impressive to see the students asking various questions about each facility.
