The Third Homecoming Day

On June 6, 2025, the Maple Program held its third Homecoming Day with the J Program, providing an opportunity for students from both programs and alumni to interact with each other. First, alumni who are in Japan were invited to give lectures, and then there was a time for exchange between the alumni and students. Many alumni from all over Japan gathered at the Minoh Campus and enjoyed meeting each other again after a long time.
The speakers at the alumni lecture this time were a CIR(Coordinator for International Relations) of the JET program, a person working for a Japanese company, and a student from our graduate school. They spoke about their own experiences working and finding employment in Japan, and graduate school admissions/research. At the exchange meeting, the seniors and juniors had time to talk with each other about topics such as participating in the JET Program, finding a job at a Japanese company, and going on to graduate school. Students asked questions and sought advice from the alumni about their career paths.
We would like to thank all the alumni who took time to participate in the Homecoming Day event. Thank you very much.
