On October 29, 2024, we conducted an off-campus tour as part of Maple Directed Research & Reading. The students were guided on a group tour by the members of Minoh Semba Town Planning Council, Residents’ Association of Semba-Nishi Area, Minoh City Community Center Kayano Small Hall “Kusunoki House”, Minoh-Hutt Friendship Club “MHFC “, and Minoh Association for Global Awareness “MAFGA “. We visited Sugitani Park, Sugitani Playground, Shinsemba Minami Park, Shinsemba Nishi Park, Minoh City Community Center Kayano Small Hall “Kusunoki House”, Minoh Life Plaza, and Minoh Local History Museum to gain a better understanding of the community activities taking place in the Minoh Semba area where they live. It was impressive to see the students asking various questions about each facility.
