On August 23, 2024, CJLC was invited to the Bon Odori Festival at the Daikin Yodogawa Plant.  Thirteen international students from CJLC , including those in the Maple Program,  participated in the festival, and enjoyed the music performances, bon dance, and night stalls.

Additionally, on August 3, the summer festival organized by residents’ association in the Semba-nishi district was held. Seven international students from the Maple Program participated in the event as volunteer staff, and worked alongside the local community residents.

Through these experiences, our students gained valuable insights into various aspects of Japanese festival.
