PBL Activities and PBL Presentation 2023

In the Maple Program, during the spring-summer term, we engaged in PBL (Project-Based Learning) activities about the city of Minoh, where we live. The objective of our PBL activities is to think about Minoh by learning about its nature, history, culture and society, to discover possible issues and challenges, and think about their solutions and share their findings and thoughts in an appropriate form.
The students worked together as a group to explore their solutions to the issues of Minoh and presented their findings at the presentation session on July 11 at Semba Lifelong Learning Center. At this event, we were joined by Minoh Volunteer Guide MV Club, Minoh Semba Town Planning Council, Residents’ Association of Semba-Nishi Area, Minoh FM radio station, others who are involved with our students’ activities, tutors and alumni of Maple Program, Dr. Munintarawong Siriwon, Specially Appointed Associate Professor of CJLC (cross appointment) from Thammasat University, and professors from other departments of Osaka University. We had a very lively question-and-answer session.
We would like to sincerely thank everybody that has cooperated with and supported our PBL activities. Thank you very much!
