Throughout the academic year, students in the Maple Program take a Project-Based Learning (PBL) course, in which they identify issues facing the Minoh community where they live, develop practical and feasible solutions, and share their ideas with the local community.This course is a required component of the program for all participating students. In addition to learning broadly about Minoh’s natural environment, history, culture, and society, students work collaboratively with classmates from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds to address real-world challenges. Through these experiences, they develop the ability to connect and engage with people and communities across cultures.

The students worked in groups to explore their solutions to the issues of Minoh and presented their findings at the presentation session on July 14 at Semba Lifelong Learning Center. At this event, we were joined by Minoh Volunteer Guide MV Club, Minoh Semba Town Planning Council, Minoh FM radio station, and so on. We had a very lively question-and-answer session.
