In the Maple Program, students participate throughout the year in a Project-Based Learning (PBL) course in which they identify issues facing the local community in Minoh, develop practical solutions, and share their proposals with community members.
Beginning this semester, the course brings together international and Japanese students in a collaborative learning environment. On October 6, all enrolled students gathered for the first class of the semester, which featured an introductory session on PBL. During the session, students gained a deeper understanding of the goals and significance of PBL, as well as the achievements of previous projects. The session also helped increase their motivation for the PBL activities ahead.
